Since the very beginning, Thumpstone SMP has been built around a simple idea: create a survival multiplayer server that feels rewarding, community-focused, and fun to play long-term.
Over the past few months we’ve added new features, expanded the world, upgraded hardware, introduced parkour, EliteMobs, mcMMO progression, leaderboards, and much more.
Today we’re launching Supporter Ranks as a way for players to help support the server’s future while receiving some extra perks in return.
Supporting the Server
Running a large Minecraft server isn’t free.
There are hosting costs, premium plugins, website infrastructure, backups, development tools, and countless hours spent configuring, maintaining, and improving the server.
Supporter Ranks help cover those costs and allow us to continue investing in new features, events, and improvements.
Most importantly, they help ensure that Thumpstone remains online and thriving for years to come.
Not Pay-to-Win
One thing that will never change is our commitment to keeping Thumpstone fair.
Supporter Ranks are designed to provide convenience, cosmetics, quality-of-life improvements, and recognition, not overwhelming gameplay advantages.
Players who never spend a penny can still access the core gameplay experience, compete on leaderboards, build impressive bases, participate in the economy, and enjoy everything that makes Thumpstone unique.
The ranks are intended to enhance your experience, not replace progression or skill.
Three Ways to Support
We’ve introduced three supporter tiers:
Supporter
The first tier unlocks useful conveniences such as additional homes, claims, shops, and player warps, alongside cosmetic perks like custom name and colours.
VIP
VIP expands on the Supporter experience with access to pets, elytra trails, join effects, chat emojis, and a wider range of cosmetic customisation options.
Legend
Our highest tier includes premium convenience features, exclusive cosmetics, decorative tools, and additional building-focused perks for players who want to support the server at the highest level.
Cosmetics for Everyone
One of the biggest additions that accompanies the new rank system is our expanded cosmetics offering.
Players can unlock a wide range of cosmetic rewards through gameplay, while supporters gain access to additional premium cosmetics, pets, effects, and customisation options depending on their tier.
These perks are designed to help you stand out without impacting gameplay balance.
