Until now, joining the server has required completing an application for manual approval and linking a Discord account. Today, we removed both those hurdles. Now all you need is a Java client pointing at play.thumpstone.com.
Obviously, this does not come without risks. That’s why we have been working tirelessly over the past few weeks to tighten security, aggressively tune for performance, and put extra safeguards and moderation tools in place.
We think we’re in pretty good shape now and hope that making it much easier for new player to join will see the community grow further.
